Architectural Control Committee
The Architectural Control Committee’s role is to preserve the unique architectural atmosphere and ambiance of The Villas of Almaden. The Committee also reviews proposals and plans of homeowners for architectural and exterior structural modifications and additions.
- Manages Clubhouse Reservations,
- Ensures that Clubhouse use adheres to the Association rules,
- Monitors Clubhouse cleanliness & repairs for both reservations & general use,
- Inspects the Clubhouse before and after each reserved function, and
- Authorizes repayment of any deposit fees.
The Communications Committee prepares, publishes and distributes the monthly newsletter, The Villas Voice, and other general communications as appropriate to residents in the Villas. The committee develops and updates The Villas of Almaden website as well as confidential e-mail distribution lists for internal communications.
The Finance Committee assists and advises the Board regarding the financial operations of the Association for accuracy, propriety, relevance and cost effectiveness in adhering to the budget. The Committee also assists the Board in communicating financial matters to the members.Landscape
The Landscape committee oversees activities of the landscape contractor and prepares recommendations for the Board concerning installation, maintenance and removal of trees, shrubs, lawns, ground cover, flowers and other plantings within The Villas of Almaden.
New Homeowner Welcoming Committee
The New Homeowner Welcoming Committee greets new homeowners upon arrival and again about a month later to answer any questions regarding The Villas of Almaden and the nearby areas.
The Social Committee organizes bimonthly Homeowners’ Association Parties at the Clubhouse for residents to become better acquainted with their neighbors.
